OUR STORY

After 10 successful years with longtime partner Ben Schwartz at Schwartz Commercial Realty, our team is excited to introduce LDG Commercial Real Estate! Partners James Langley, Scott Dickson, and Barrett Geenen created LDG Commercial Real Estate upon a foundation of passion and desire in providing unrivaled tenant representation in San Diego. 

We are a relationship-driven firm who strongly believe in loyalty, integrity, excellence, and trust. We are committed to fostering the relationships we form with clients to extend well beyond the close of a deal. As a result, the LDG Commercial team has been regarded as one of the most trusted and respected San Diego tenant representation firms. 

 

MEET THE TEAM

JAMES LANGLEY

James began his real estate career in 2004 at Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial where he spent three years working on one of the largest retail leasing teams in San Diego county. Thereafter he joined Studley representing office tenants. He then joined Schwartz Commercial Realty now called LDG Commercial in February 2008 and has remained a top producer in tenant representation. 

James has a diverse real estate background in land acquisitions and dispositions, office, industrial and retail leasing for landlords and tenants.

Aside from real estate, James enjoyed a successful collegiate baseball career with Drexel University in Philadelphia PA, and Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego CA. He graduated from Point Lmona Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He also spent time playing semi professional baseball for the Duluth Huskies in the Northwoods League, a sanctioned summer baseball league comprised of the top college players from across the country. 

Currently, James lives with his wife and two children in San Diego and enjoys shooting "par" on the golf course, telling top notch stories, and serving his community in various ways. He serves on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and also as a committee member and proud supporter of the Seal Future Fund. 

 

SCOTT DICKSON

In 1999 Scott joined SENTRE Partners were he worked as a landlord representative.  Afterward he spent 3 years serving as a landlord and tenant broker at Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial. Scott would soon join forces with James on the Schwartz Commercial Realty team in 2008. 

His experience and background as a landlord representative helps him provide valuable insight to the negotiation process. Scott’s specialties in site selection, financial analysis, and lease negotiation is vital for tenants in the San Diego market.

Scott graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics. 

Scott resides in San Diego with his wife and children and enjoys emulating Michael Phelps in the swimming pool and competing in triathlons. He also serves on the local San Diego board for UC Davis alumni.

 

BARRETT GEENEN

Barrett worked as a Financial Representative for Northwestern Mutual in San Diego before he began his real estate career in 2010 at QualityFirst Commercial as a landlord and tenant representative. He joined Schwartz Commercial Realty in 2016, where he concentrates in site selection, financial analysis and lease negotiation for tenants and buyers in the San Diego market. Barrett's experience in representing landlords gives him a unique perspective into the tenant negotiation and analysis process.

Barrett attended University of Colorado-Boulder with a Bachelor in Business Administration-Finance and a minor in Economics. He currently lives in San Diego with his wife and they are expecting their first child. Its a girl! Barrett plays an active role in the sports community and is currently a youth lacrosse coach with the RC Starz and Carmel Valley Falcons Middle School programs.

 

NICK GARRETT

Nick joined the LDG Commercial team in 2016 as an associate director. Nick has dedicated himself ensuring top quality tenant representation and has continued to grow in the commercial real estate industry. By utilizing his constant search for learning and understanding of the market, he has already made a big impact and created a phenomenal reputation in the community.  Aside from the brokerage, Nick also focuses much of his time on marketing strategies and implementation.

Nick graduated magna cum laude from Point Loma Nazarene University and achieved Marketing Student of the Year.

In his spare time, Nick coaches competitive baseball and enjoys getting out on the golf course.
